I missed the facial recognition and it wants a PIN number which. I don’t have.

I have an HP ENVY laptop with windows 10. I use facial recognition. I missed the eye recognition and now asks me for my PIN number. I never made a PIN number. How can I get back to the facial recognition or is there a default PIN number.
I  also tried to create a pass word but It asks for a usb drive to look for the password which I don’t have because I never created a password.

I am sorry that happened.

Unless something has changed (possible), I believe you cannot set up Windows facial recognition without first having assigned a PIN login.  This is a primary means of protecting you from where you find yourself at this moment.

The problem is >> We cannot help you directly.  All we can do is provide basic information.

If what you say is true, you have locked yourself out of your computer without PIN and without a password as a fallback to the facial recognition process.

If the fingerprint sensor suddenly stops working on your computer

OR

If the computer is not issuing errors but still won’t let you log in,

Consider trying a Forced Reset (power reset).

Reminders

 A Forced Reset is NOT a “recovery” and does not remove your data – this reset merely forces the computer to load the Operating System from disk. 

Forced Reset does not harm a healthy system nor does it “fix” problems not related to a clean start.

You might  be able to get help from Microsoft.
