Product: HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G2

My laptop wasn't running great so I reset it. After resetting it, I now get the screen posted below... if I run the hard disk test it says it failed, and if I hit enter the computer just loads before looping back to this screen. What should I do? Please help!

Hi:

 

Normally when you get an error like that it means you will have to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

The hard drive was probably on its way out, which is why the notebook wasn't running so great.
