HP Pavilion MODEL 15-p264na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have  a problem with my HP Pavilion notebook. It won't boot up. I have a blank screen but can hear the fan etc. When attempting to boot up, I hear 2 beeps repeated 5 times and I see an LED light blinking on the Caps Lock button, the blink pattern is 2 blinks and then a pause, this repeats continuously.

I believe I have a corrupt BIOS, I've read and followed the KB articles here https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c01732674

and here https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02693833

and I am not able to recover the BIOS using the recommended key press combinations so I now want to create a BIOS recovery flash drive - however when I go to the HP drivers page as directed https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-p200-notebook-pc-series/7486459/mode...

I find that there are no drivers available for my product  let alone any indication of where to get a BIOS recovery image.

Can anyone point me to where I can get a BIOS recovery please.

Also as a second question, if I do manage to recover the BIOS using this method will it trash my folders and files?
