Hello All, I installed a Samsung SSD NVMe M.2 500 gig 970 EVO and used Samsung's migration tool. All worked fine until I re-formatted the original SATA hard drive so I could use as just a storage drive. Now when I turn on the laptop, I get a screen that says Preparing Automatic Repair, then goes to a blue screen.
The only way to get in is from the blue screen is select ;
Troubleshoot
Advanced Options
UEFI Firmware Settings
Restart
F9
Boot from EFI File - Enter
Select the NVMe Drive - Enter
Scroll down to Boot - Enter
Scroll down to boot X64.efi - Enter
I'm now logged in and computer works fine.
How do I get it to just boot from the SSD?
I've done all the changes in the BIOS I can do, still nada...only thing I can think of is completely remove the old SATA drive from the machine.
Thanks
