LAPTOP - Black Screen after BIOS Update Jam @ 100% complete

 

The other day I updated BIOS on my HP14s fq0046na and got to 100% successful screen at end - BUT it then froze.
I left the screen on (just in case it needs more time) but after a few hours the charge drained and PC powered off.

 

I have tried to load/boot but am presented with a BLANK BLACK SCREEN. The LED on Left Side is Lit and Caps Lock Button LED flashes (3xFast, Gap, 5xSlow).

 

Downloaded relevant BIOS fro HP and burnt to a USB drive but the recover system does not boot up and did not get beyond the BLACK SCREEN (using WIN+B or without).

 

Is the laptop BRICKED ?. The laptop is 1 month outside warranty.

 

Any suggestions to reinstalling BIOS or HP repairs.
