LOGO of HP appears twice with black screen while restarting

hp pavilion 15 au 003 tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

recently i have enabled vtx .... while restarting logo appears twice and a black screen appears before windows is looded..

Hi!

 

Welcome to HP Forums a great way to get support. 

 

Thanks for your post. I read the post and want to assist you.

 

I understand that  after enabling VTX  on your computer, the HP logo appears twice followed by a black screen before windows loads.

 

You can run "msconfig" utility to quicken the boot process and this should help you resolve the issue.

 

Here are the steps to run the "msconfig" utility":

 

  • Please press the "Windows" key on the keyboard and the letter "R" simultaneously  to launch the "Run" dialog box.
  • Please type the command "msconfig" in the box and click on the OK tab.
  • This launches the "msconfig" window. 
  • Please  click on the "boot" tab at the top.
  • Under the "timeout" option change the value from 30 to 10 seconds.
  • Click on "restart" for the changes to take effect.
  • This will restart the computer and the system will boot faster masking the display of the logo for a long time.

thank you for your reply ..i have changed the timeout settings to 10 sec ...but still the logo appears twice no change took place....

Thanks for the reply. 

 

Please try these steps:

 

  • Please load BIOS defaults first.
  • Then enable VTX again on the machine.
  • If this does not work Please update the bios from HP support site.
