Laptop does not start

Hi,

I got a problem. I disconnected the l20361-001 cable on the motherboard ( the connection next to the ssd) and it does not work anymore. I will buy a new one to exchange it.

The notebook does not start anymore without this cable. Could this be possible? I thought this cable is only for the display.

Now if I press the start button then the button light glows for some seconds but it turn off after that. My plan was to connect a second monitor with hdmi so I can work with that but the Notebook does not boot.

Can someone help me if its just the cable or could it be something else?

Thanks and kind regards

Helfer Patrick

@Styx96

I presume you reconnected the cable and the laptop still does not boot, right?

About all you can do now is run diagnostics by pressing the F2 key repeatedly while rebooting and hoping those find something.

IF they don't you are probably stuck -- because by messing around inside of it, you voided any remaining warranty.
