Hello @AMEY2

Thank you for posting in the HP Support community ! Welcome !

Your computer's specs are good. Generally speaking you made a good choice

Your computer might be slow and hanging now because of  Windows 10. Usually the PCs are built in long before the date of purchase and Windows has many updates to download/install/apply. This may be resource intensive. Also, some preinstalled apps such as McAfee or driver updates might be causing issues.

1. Make sure you uninstall McAfee. Try to uninstall it from Control Panel -> Programs and features

At the end restart the computer.

Eventually, download and start their removal tool MCPR ->  https://download.mcafee.com/molbin/iss-loc/SupportTools/MCPR/MCPR.exe

Complete the removal and reboot at the end...

2. Uninstall apps you do not need and will never use

3. Ensure Windows 10 is fully updated. Go to Start -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and check for updates (and install them) until you get a message that all updates are installed

4. Optimize

- defragment your Hard Disk Drive (if you have hard disk drive) > https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8933-optimize-defrag-drives-windows-10-a.html

- run Disk Clean Up - cleanmgr.exe > https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3012-disk-cleanup-open-use-windows-10-a.html

Hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply or feedback.
