Product: HP 17-ca0001ng

So I bought this laptop yesterday without operating system. I have bought windows 7 later and when I wanted to turn the laptop on nothing happened. I tried some solutions like take out battery and put it in but I can't the battery is built in. Is there a way to fix this or I should bring the laptop back and change it to a new one?

Hi

I would suggest you return it and try a replacement, however the seller may not accept your reason.

 

You could try a copy of Lubuntu, or perhaps some part of the image below may help?

I do realise it appears dead and some of the above wont be relevant (as it came with FreeDos? which is almost no OS at all),

but it is a Lo-Cost/NO-Cost option.

 

If in doubt please ask.
