17z-Y000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This happened after I tried to update the bios of my laptop HP 17z-Y000....the option to clear TPM came up and I did so...my laptop started up, but only with the black screen. Does not respond to keys. I can only successfully re-run the bios recovery procedure. But nothing changes.
Laptop powers up fine, can see the power led on, and  hear the fan spin, but nothing display on screen, tested with external monitor, nothing too.
Please help I have tried everything to my knowledge.

@vieja

Can you get into BIOS setup by tapping Esc key immediately after powering on to open a startup menu? At the menu you would have F10 to enter BIOS. If you can get into BIOS find the TPM settings and disable then renable it- or switch it around if already disabled- first Enable it then disable agian and it should reset TPM.

If you can't get into BIOS setup- try a power reset:

Laptop does not respond to any keys. I can only successfully re-run the bios recovery procedure when press and hold the Windows key  and the B key.
