Laptop will not power up

Was gone for 3 days and when I came home laptop will not power up

Could be different kinds of failure --

Stuff dies -- Sometimes it does that when you are not around to understand what happened.

Perhaps..

If you left the computer unplugged and the battery completely drained, the battery is likely dead.

A Dead battery does not "get better".

If a completely dead battery is the source of the problem, the battery must be replaced.
