Hello, 

i am seeking information about my  HP Laptop Model 15-dy1002ds. After pressing the keypad the displayed a lockout image afterwards the screen went black. The laptop will not charge. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

Could you please confirm if you are referring to the touchpad or the keys on the keyboard which was causing the issue? When you say lockout image, may I know if you are referring to the password screen?

 

May I know if you see any signs of power in your system?

What happens when you press and hold the power button on your system?
