Welcome to our HP User Forum!

 

Presumably all HP motherboards (should) have jumpers.

 

The challenge is to find documentation that tells us where to find it and what the jumper settings is to reset BIOS.

Hi, @Thang315b 

 

No HP notebook that has been made in the last 15 years or longer, has a jumper to clear the BIOS password.

 

Normally if you enter a password incorrectly 3 times, the BIOS will report a system disabled code, and you need to have a special program that will provide the password unlock code by entering the system disabled code in the program.

 

We used to be able to provide the BIOS unlock codes to forum members, but this practice has been prohibited by HP since March 1 of 2019.

 

You have already been notified by moderators of this policy and continuing to ask for help to remove the BIOS password unfortunately will a waste of time on your part and may result in you being banned from posting here anymore.
