OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Was talking with my friends over Discord when my computer bluescreened. Wouldn't be the first time it ever happened in my life so I wasn't concerned at first, but then I wasn't able to boot into windows. Tried using a recovery point, hard resetting, doing a system restore, etc. and nothing is working. Ended up booting into the HP software diagnostics and my SSD automatically failed the SMART check with the code: PJ0661-A5JC0H-MFPU3G-60D703

For the record, when I booted into my BIOS settings it listed the code 03F0 in the logs, not sure what that means. I'm using a Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB, and am just hoping it's the SSD that's failed and not the lap

Yes, most likely the Samsung drive has failed.

The drive should have a 5-year warranty if you installed it yourself, so you should be able to get a new one if you submit an RMA.

I don't believe that HP offered that model drive as OEM.

The website that HP has to check the failure codes hasn't worked for quite a while.
