Pavilion Laptop 15-cc5xx

Please provide report on system test memory failure ID U09J1R-8PPAJF-MFPURG-401503.

Additionally, the system fast test says:

Battery Check: Primary - Calibration Required (20)

Please elaborate on what I should do for this.

Hi:

Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number.

Failure Information
Failure ID Tag Checksum HP Serial Number Test Date Failure Code Device Includes Error Message
U09J1R-8PPAJF-MFPURG-401503OKXXXXXXXXXX3/20/21200MemoryCache Module, Memory, Memory BoardMemory Module Failure (no DIMM id)

You will need to remove and replace the failed memory module.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure...

h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05705784.pdf

If your notebook has two memory modules, remove one of them and see if the code goes away when you are running with the remaining memory chip.

If you still get the failure code, remove that chip and replace it with the first one you removed.

As far as the battery problem, see this link for how to calibrate the battery...
