Model 14-cb113wm, and the screen is black. The laptop power on but the screen is black.

I have an hp model14-cb113wm and the screen is completely black.

 

The power the the device is on but the screen stays black. My computer screen is broken but light still is shown through it. I have a drawing tablet that I connect to the computer, which shows the computer screen.

 

I tried everything that i know and i went on Google to see if I could find anything to help me out.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Have you checked connected an external monitor or TV to the computer as you have mentioned that the computer screen is broken?

I followed all of the steps on the page that you sent me, and still nothing has worked. I also did them without my monitor attached. I had tried to do a reset, but that still didnt work.

I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
