Looks like your machine has M.2 SSD + 1TB 2.5" HDD. Yes, it boots from M.2 SSD drive.

Thank you! That is true. Will simply replacing this fix the problem? I will buy from HP. Are the boot files on the new SSD? Are there any settings to be made in ROM?

For security reason, please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n) on Internet.
