Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few days ago, my lapotp started to randomly shut off during use and say that it would run into errors. I would work arround this, but a few days ago the sporadic shutoffs turned into an inability to boot up. When attempting to power on the computer, I am greeted with a screen that says I need to install an operating system and when I test the hard drive (SSD in my case) it says there isnt one. However, when I messed with settings and allowed rebooting while legacy mode was on, the laptop seemed to work just fine. Can anyone help me out? is it a problem to rely on legacy mode to have a functioning laptop?

Thanks!
