Hi @Hodos,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Pavilion 15.6-inch laptop won't turn on even when you have it connected to the charger, here are some things you can try to diagnose and fix the issue.
- Check the power source: Make sure that the power outlet you're using is working correctly. Try plugging in another device to confirm if the outlet is working.
- Check the charger: If the charger isn't working correctly, your laptop won't receive power. Check if the charging cable is damaged or frayed. If it is, replace it with a new one. You can also try using a different charger to see if that fixes the issue.
- Remove the battery: If you can remove the laptop battery, remove it and try turning on the laptop while it's plugged into the charger. Sometimes a faulty battery can prevent a laptop from turning on, even when it's plugged in.
- Try a hard reset: Disconnect the charger and remove the battery, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the charger and try turning on the laptop.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
