HP Pavilion x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I closed my laptop before bed and it was perfectly fine, but then about 20 hours later I open it and my laptop lets me touch any key to get into the login screen but the option to enter in my pin doesn’t come. So I power off my laptop and it does the same thing again. Then I power off my laptop for the last time and my screen doesn’t go into the up load up for hp. Instead it goes to a black screen with a blinking cursor. Take into account I have done that BIOS stuff but nothing is working and I am out of warranty

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community, @MichelleOkolie

You can buy HDD or SSD from online or local tech stores, and replace it on your own or contact HP Authorized Service center for assistance.

Last part - once you replace the faulty HDD component - you will need to reinstall back your operating system

How to do it  ? Details are posted in the PDF file below
