My battery is not working and not charging. If I unplug my power cord my PC simply goes dark. I have to connect the power cord again and start. I did a battery check. It says Battery check: primary - replace (40), Failure ID : M32F0C-7P4A6E-XD7WLK-C0AE03, Product ID : P3C93PA#ACJ
@Raj6661 I've managed to decipher the failure ID and it represents code 601 which confirms a battery 1 failure,
the best way forward is to have the battery replaced, you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
Or, If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,
