I computer froze on the “log-in screen”, I tried to restart it and it shut down completely, the screen is black, the power button is glowing green as if it was on and it doesn’t make a sound...

I’m seriously freaking out, I haven’t even had it for a year, what should I do?

Hi @Emelie99

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the no boot issue.

Let's try these steps to perform a hard reset on the Notebook PC -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.
3) Remove the Battery.
4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.
6) Try to turn on the computer.

I managed to get it working on my own...

You can’t remove the battery from my computer as far as I know but thanks for writing exactly what your help center already instructs everyone to try...
