Recently bought the above hp envy. Windows update installed bitlocker and I do not have a code for this. Took it to Best Buy Geek Squad. My windows account does not have my PC listed. Serial number is not recognized. I've tried everything. Now I'll have to shoot this thing to put it down. Poed in Carolina

Log into your Microsoft account, look for your devices. If it's not registered you will have to add it. The bit locker number, as you know, is very long. Once you recover the number just enter it in the pop up.
