Hi @Parboy75,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy x360 is not turning on and you've ruled out power supply issues, there are several potential reasons for this problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue.

  • Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the laptop for any signs of physical damage, such as a cracked screen, damaged ports, or any other visible issues.
  • Disconnect External Devices: Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, printers, etc.) from the laptop. Sometimes, a malfunctioning external device can cause startup problems.
  • Perform a Hard Reset: Shut down the laptop, unplug the power cable, and remove the battery (if possible). Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then, reconnect the battery and power cable and try turning it on again.
  • Check the AC Adapter: Ensure that the AC adapter is working properly. Try using a different power outlet or a different AC adapter if available.
  • Inspect the Power Button: Check if the power button is physically stuck or damaged. Press it a few times to make sure it's not jammed.
  • Reset the BIOS/UEFI: Sometimes, resetting the BIOS or UEFI settings can resolve startup issues. Consult your laptop's manual for instructions on how to reset the BIOS or UEFI.
  • Check the RAM: Reseat the RAM modules. Power off the laptop, remove the battery, and access the RAM modules. Take them out and then reinsert them firmly.
  • Perform a System Diagnostics: Some laptops have built-in diagnostic tools. Check your laptop's manual for instructions on how to run system diagnostics. This can help identify hardware issues.

Remember to consult your laptop's user manual for specific instructions related to your HP Envy x360 model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
