HP Notebook - 15-ra011ni

My laptop is slower than a tortoise during startup. It takes too long to load, even opening any apps or MS products like Word, Outlook & etc. It goes the same way even if I'm  using internet, it takes too long to launch the page. What might be the problem? Please advise 🙏

Assuming this laptop has a SATA hard drive and not a M.2, - what those symptoms indicate could be a failing hard drive.  While just barely functioning, it is very slow to get it done.

You could run the Diagnostics routine.

To run the Diagnostics routine, Start tapping the Esc key BEFORE starting the PC and then press the start button.
Keep tapping the Esc key until a popup menu shows. Then pick Diagnostics from that popup menu, F2.
Report back with the results.

Keep in mind that running extensive hard drive chores may cause it to fail, so once the Diagnostics routine finishes, it would be wise to not force too much more until this is solved.

If the Diagnostics routine says all is well, then most this likely is a malware infection.  Not impossible to solve, but it could be.
