HP 17-by3063st 17.3" Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a lap top that I bought on 8/15/2020. two weeks after I bought it, the laptop stopped working. Nothing happened that would cause this to such an event, it didn't fall or got banged. I've  used all the remedy suggestions offered by the HP website, but to no avail. At one point I was able to get to the BIOS to change the boot configurations so it would boot from a USB flash drive, on witch I installed system repair software This started the lap top, but didn't install windows 10. This was as far as I could go. Since than it doesn't respond to anything. The only thing that still happens, is that when when I plug it in to the electricity, the light at the power port goes on. I thank anybody who can help me.

Hi @msstern01,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
