HP F387 WM

I’m on my laptop, about to put the charger in because it’s on low battery and then it turns off, so then I plug in my charger and try to turn it off and nothing it’s starting. I’m surprised by this so I take out the battery and try turning it on and no avail. I take out the battery again and leave it out for like 30 minutes, I put it back in and then it turns off and displays a message which I didn’t read  I only caught the part where’s it said I can press enter for a normal start up and then the laptop turns off again and it hasn’t woken up since. I did the hard test thing where you unplug everything connected to your laptop, take out your battery, hold the power button for 15-30 seconds, and then put your battery and I got nothing. I also did the alternate version where you  take out your battery and then plug in just charger and still nothing is happening. The only thing that seems to be working is all LED light that goes on when you plug the charger in. Everything else just seems dead.  Please help me if you can

Most likely, the laptop is experiencing a major hardware failure. You MIGHT be able to run hardware diagnostics by pressing the Esc key repeatedly and then, when the HP Startup Menu appears, select Diagnostics (usually F2) and let it run.

If that does not work, then there is nothing more you can do personally.

I wish we could help you from here, but we can't. The problem is that we HERE, have no way of diagnosing or repairing hardware problems. And, with the PC not even starting, even HP Tech Support, who have the authority and tools to REMOTE into a PC across the Internet, can not access your PC.

Software failures invariably present with error messages of some kind on the screen, such as No Operating System or No Boot Device. In these cases, reinstalling the OS from media such as DVD or USB fixes the first; rebuilding the boot records using various utilities fixes the second. But any time a laptop simply refuses to turn on, that tend to indicate a serious hardware failure.

If your PC is still under the original one-year HP warranty, or if you have purchased an extended warranty from HP and this is still valid, then you should contact HP Customer Support to see about having it repaired or replaced under warranty.

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!
If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (650) 857-1501.
Tech Support's number is 1 (800) 474-6836.

If your PC is no longer under warranty, you will have to contact an HP Repair or Service Center to see if they can examine the PC to determine the cause(s) of the problems, if it can be repaired, and an estimate of the repair costs.

If you live in the U.S., here is a link to the HP Service Repair Centers:

Good Luck
