HP ENVY Notebook - 13-d002ne (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello All,

I own an Envy 13 d002ne laptop, it was running perfectly fine no issues at all.

Last time i wanted to turn it on it wont start at all.

I kept the battery plugged in to fully charge it but still wont turn on.

I have tried to do  hard reset, removed the battery and plugged it back on it made no difference even tried to disconnect the battery and plugged in the charger alone also wont turn on.

The only strange thing i noticed is that the led light is on if its charging or fully charged the led light is on but once i press on the power button for 10-15 seconds the  goes off and once i let go the power button the led light goes back on.

Please help.

Hi @Hamzah89,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Laptop that is not powering on.

Follow the below steps to fix the issue.

-Perform a power drain on your PC.

 1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.

2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.

5) Power on the PC and check if it boots into Windows now.

-Try connecting an alternate charger which is compatible to confirm if there is an issue with the charger or try the same charger on another laptop that uses the same type of charging port.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
