HP Recommended
HP TouchSmart tm2t-1100 CTO Notebook PC

Hi,

I recovered BIOS using Windows+B at startup. But since the recovery, I am unable to booth the laptop.

I have tried multiple solutions:

a) recovering bios again

b) resetting COMS

c) hard reset by pressing power button

None seems to be working!

to try, usb bios install I searched for software but looks like the product in retired. I also got to the hp ftp site but do not know how to find the relevant files.

Please help with any other solutions and the BIOS installation file so that I can recover my laptop.

Thanks

I don't know about this site but it appears the BIOS comes from the HP servers.

First item on the list.

Thank you so much for your response. Is this website trust-able? I do not want to create trouble for my 2nd working laptop while repairing 1st laptop!

I do not know about the website, however I downloaded the BIOS file and had Bitdefender scan it and it was clean.  I also opened it with 7-zip and it looked to be OK.  It appears to be from HP source.

Here is a direct link from the HP server, if you prefer
