Hi i bought a hp omen "refurbished" a little over a year ago, it was really expensive and it was working until exactly 1 week after warranty expired back in November, never abused the laptop took really good care of it when asked hp never ever got any word back from them since warranty was a week expired i just took the loss i brought the laptop to a shop that was quoting me 500 dollars with no warranty also they said that whoever did the refurbished left a huge mess of thermal paste in the motherboard, i just said no to the repair and I've been looking for a motherboard for that laptop that is virtually impossible to find, wondering if there's any way to get a mobo or if i should just let go the 2000 dollars that i originally paid for it? Thanks for your time and help

Hi unfortunately I already tried that was my first line of defense, i called costumer service and since my warranty was off the weren't able to help, also they don't sell just the motherboards on the site, im not really willing to pay 1500 dollar for a fix from hp I'd rather trash it and buy a asus rog or something else with better costumer service and part availability, just trying to get a plain motherboard no services nothing extra, but hp don't seem to stand behind their products
