Hi,
My laptop is stuck on the reboot screen. When I went to turn it on it did not immediately and required me to hold down the power button. This is not unusual for my laptop. Number popped up at the top left corner while the screen was still black before an HP logo popped up with the spinning circle underneath. This lasted for 10 minutes before a blue error message screen popped up saying that it ran into a problem and would automatically reboot. It tried to reboot again and the same thing happened. I had someone from IT look at it and according to diagnostics the hard-drive passed all the tests. The only snag is that the hard-drive light never actually turns on at any point in time. That lead them to believe that it is a software issue. Thus far no screen could be achieved past the HP logo with the spinning circle and occasionally a "please wait" or "Preparing Automatic Repair". Is there any hope of fixing my laptop or is this a lost cause?
