New HP Laptop continues to freeze up randomly

HP Laptop 14 dx1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was told today by HP that my "software" warranty is only for 90 days. I have done every scan. and diagnostic thing possible. I just read on here that even after dong a factory reset it didn't change anything. A very new computer shouldn't freeze up randomly. It used to be once a week and now it's every day. I was told to join HP Smart Friends, I don't want to pay more money.  I've done BIOS  update Windows UPdate ,optimizer,  command prompt scan.. everything comes back as passed.
