New Hp spectre shut off during use, now completely unresponsive

Hp spectre x 360
I bought my bought spectre in August, 3 months ago, for a work trip around Asia. I chose this model which was more expensive than I had intended because I was led to believe that it was good quality. My last hp from my days in university, lasted me 10 years. It still works even though it was banged around and us held together with duck tape. The software is too old to be compatible with security software leaving it vulnerable.
The spectre was working like a charm and I was super happy with my purchase. I put all of the necessary information, programs, general material for my various types of work and set off. There was a lot of memory left free.

The first day I open it in Vietnam, I am checking the news, bbc to be exact. It was working fine, until it shuts off randomly. It wasn't plugged in because it had enough battery. It didn't turn back on, doesn't, beep, blink, hum, cough or burp. I have tried every single troubleshoot that i found online and with the customer service representative that u spoke with, including the lower button+v button (and b button alternately); nothing works, no lights no nothing. It might as well be a heavy frisbee.

I chatted online for help and was supposed to receive a call back from a manager, and an email if the call didn't work (because I am abroad) I didn't receive either. The person I talked with was polite and helpful, but this situation is giving me hardcore anxiety because I was depending on this computer to aide me in my work and to last at least 5 years, at very least. I didn't bother to back up my info because I only just bought it 3 months ago.

I have read a million posts with the same, or near same, experience with most ending in disappointment as their computer was out of warranty. My warranty is good, and I have total insurance, but I don't want another worthless computer, I want what I paid for and this is not it.

At thus point I am seriously considering switching to a Mac. I thought I'd never say that, but I am fuming and about 2 inches away from commenting on every available platform to warn customers of this product as a complete ripoff as I see thus is a widely reoccurring problem.

Please respond with something helpful. I know it us probably a volunteer responding to this, so please save some time and get someone with authority to make my situation better.

Thank you and gave a good day

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
