New laptop won’t come on.

HP Recommended
17- ca1013ds
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Opened my brand new laptop today, plugged it in, and pushed power. Power light came on but nothing else. It’s been in charger for 2 hours and still nothing. Please help!

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

 

The Notebook should Power On and boot up with the AC Adapter connected

 

Please perform a Power Drain and check if that helps

If the issue persists please contact the Store you purchased it from for a replacement since it's brand new
