(1) Power off notebook

(2Disconnect charger

(3Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds

(4Connect charger

(5) Follow the HP standard procedure

Thanks. I used my son's laptop and made one.and I got it up and running..now I can't get it to take my pin number and I've forgot my password months ago.dont won't to delete pics and tax files off of hard drive. Amy suggestions?

(1) The "old" hard disk should be removed from your notebook.

(2) Another Windows computer can transfer the data using a SATA-to-USB adapter

(3) A new hard disk should be installed and the Windows operating system reinstalled.

 

Ask a friend/neighbour/acquaintance who is good with computers to help you.

ive got windows 10 back up and partially running. my cpu is running at .5ghz. it should be at 2.16ghz. how can i fix this?
