Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP envy 15 inch won't boot, the power button is flashing on and off, plus there is ticking sound.

Nothing showing on the screen.

Power light on the other side is blinking.

Before  this I have updated my ram size to 8 GB from 4GB and made some software updates.

Usually if you are seeing Power light on, tick sound, power light off. Power light on,tick sound, power light off- the laptop is trying over and over to power on but something is stopping it almost immediately.

After the ram upgrade has the laptop booted successfully?

Have you tried removing the new ram to see if any difference?

Have you tried a power reset/hard reset?
