OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx

Omen  15 laptop windows 10,

getting that f30 error

made a usb flash drive with  bios update on another pc

changed bios settings to boot from flash drive first and disabled secure boot

No ports are recognizing the flash drive from any port, keeps bringing up black screen with f30 error and option for f2

used esc and went to boot  menu, somehow made it to the HP bios update screen, says it's writing new bios image.  not sure where it's writing to.  Restarted and says boot blocks are being updated.  then pending being cleared, and rebooted.

says boot device not found, not sure if this is because I changed bios order.

went back to bios menu, changed settings back to default, removed flash drive

went to boot menu, repeated steps to get to HP bios update screen, says writing new bios.  let that run, restarted. same f30  errors.

spent 3 hours on all this.  what's next?

also, no system diagnostics options on f2, ran everything else, processor, memory, all ok.

Is that a 3F0 error ? If yes, please use
