Omen is Locked in Airplane mode and does not recognize password

HP Recommended
Omen 2016 17" WO33DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After deleting some unused programs, i.e kids games, my 2016 Omen laptop re-booted and would not accept my pin.  It says "something has happened and your PIN is not working.  Click to set up new pin."  I cannot click because it asks for a password that it now no longer recognizes.  Re-setting my Microsoft password on other computers works - but not on this.  It also appears to be stuck in airplane mode.  I tried Fn12, 12 (nothing happens), Safe mode does not work and I tried plugging in an ethernet cable.  I still cannot gain access.  I write this from my SURFACE as I cannot access my OMEN.  Suggestions??
