Product: HP Spectre 15t-ch000 x360 Convertible
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, my HP Spectre x360 won't turn on and the CAPS lock button is flashing an LED. I searched the flashes to find the error code is 5.3, which means the embedded controller is timing out while waiting for the BIOS. My warranty has expired, but can I send this PC to HP for repairs at cost? If not, what is my best solution? I do not have the tools, parts, nor time to open the PC and find the issue.

HP's usual practice is that they do not do out of warranty repairs because they are not a general purpose repair service -- so it's likely they will not fix it.  Also, we are not permitted to provide any repair estimates.
