Hi, all. I've looked online and tried various recovery methods - pop out cmos battery (it's still out), pull all accessories and hardware except one DIMM, WIN+B, WIN+V, create BIOS recovery USB (fat32 of course), connect external monitor via HDMI - no luck.
The part that really gets me about this is I hadn't been to the HP site for a driver scan in several months, maybe a year, and I ran the BIOS update it recommended first. Watched it carefully, ensured there were no issues. It completed, installed, verified itself, then after the final restart -nothing. Power light on the power button, fan will run, but no screen at all. This is all on HP for providing a faulty BIOS update based on their scan of my laptop and recommendations, and I'm not about to pay them to tell me that.
Any other suggestions at all other than file a small claims suit against them for damaging property?
