HP Pavilion x360 14-cd1055cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced the battery on my Pavilion 360x cd-14. It will not power on also the light at the charging port does come on.  I re-swaped with the old battery.  Same Issue.  I also tried a hard reset.

Hello @jackneedshelp9

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

It could be that you made a mistake when replacing the battery and caused a short circuit of the motherboard.

(1) Power off computer

(2Disconnect charger

(3) Disconnect battery !

(4Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds

(5) Connect battery

I tried that last night.  It didn't correct the issue.

I replaced the power button board this morning.  That wasn't it either.

Hello @jackneedshelp9

If the charger basically works then this is a clear indication that the mainboard is short-circuited.

If you can't repair that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Good luck
