Pavilion x360 Convertible

My laptop is just 3 months past the one year warranty and out of nowhere I go to turn it on and the screen stays black and the fan runs extremely loud. And the light by the caps lock button blinks. I shut the laptop off and turned it back on and nothing happened. I also tried to reset it by holding the power button down for an extended period of time and that didn’t help either. I don’t know what else to do. Please help! Thanks!

Check the chart for diagnosis of your blink code pattern:

The blinking is 3.5 and based on the chart it says that "the CPU is not detected" and to "contact support for repair."

How does this happen?

It is just upsetting that my laptop is just outside of its one year warranty and now I have to pay to get it fixed.  I spent a significant amount of money on this laptop.   I have never had a problem this early with any other laptops I have owned.
