Pavilion x360 does not start

HP Recommended
Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon!

We have a Pavilion x360 notebook which ceased working half a year ago (we bought a new one) - anyhow, i don't give up hope on the old one.

The notebook is plugged in, there is a orange diode on the plug side lighting up.
Anyhow, if pushing the start button, nothing happens, it is just dead. I have opened the notebook, cleaned it with a duster spray, but nothing else so far (apart from removing the hard disk to copy data for the new notebook). I also tried a different charger ((from the new HP Envy) to no avail.
Does anybody an idea what this could be?

Thanks in advance
Andrea/AKKA

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly. If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
