You're very welcome.
Yes, pretty much anyone can unlock the BIOS password on almost any consumer notebook by entering the disabled code at the link below.
So, IMO putting a BIOS password on a consumer class notebook is pretty much a waste of time unless you are doing it to keep children from messing around with your PC.
Your Windows password is probably a much better deterrant for keeping folks out of your personal info.
That is not as easy to get into.
You can generally reset your BIOS password as follows...
Use your unlock passcode to enter the BIOS
Go to the security menu
Disable all passwords that are enabled
If asked for current password - type your unlock passcode.
For new password, just press ENTER key
Repeat the same for verify password column.
Then leave the BIOS by saving & exit option to save the changes.
