Pavillion m6 notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Laptop stalls on loading screen with blue window and rotating dots. I cant seem to get to an option for safe mode. I tried tapping f8 during start up and nothing happened. I can only hit esc for startup menu. My options are f1 system information f2 system diagnostics f9 boot device options f10 bios setup and f11 system recovery.

None of these appear to have a safe mode option.  Please help!

With Win10, using the old familiar F8 to launch Safe mode no longer works (thanks to MS!).

Instead, you have to follow these instructions:  https://winaero.com/blog/start-windows-10-in-safe-mode/
