Hi @Sumit83,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
It sounds like your laptop is not detecting the boot drive and is defaulting to a network boot option in the BIOS. Let’s go through some probing questions to gather more information, and then we can proceed with specific troubleshooting steps.
Have you noticed any unusual behavior before this issue?
Were there any slowdowns, errors, or unusual noises before the laptop was turned off?
Have you made any recent changes?
Did you install updates, or new hardware, or make any changes to the BIOS settings recently?
Have you tried restarting the laptop?
Did you attempt to restart the laptop multiple times, and does it consistently show the same Network Device List option?
Are there any external devices connected?
Are there any USB drives, external hard drives, or other peripherals connected to the laptop?
Can you access the BIOS?
Are you able to enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing Esc, F2, F10, or F12 when starting up? If yes, does it show the internal hard drive listed in the boot order?
Did you notice any physical damage?
Is there any physical damage to the laptop, such as drops, spills, or other impacts that might have affected the internal components?
Have you backed up your data recently?
This will help assess the urgency of recovering access to the hard drive.
To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
