I've a new Elitebook 840 G7 and I configured Power-On Authentication with password and minimal 2 fingerprints.
After reboot it goes directly to Power-On Authentication screen but it doesn't recognise password neither fingerprints.
How can I solve this?
Thanks

Sorry for the bad news, but no one has responded before this because there is nothing we can do to help you -- and worse -- there is nothing you can do on your own to fix this.
That is because a power-on password is encoded into the firmware of a chip on the motherboard and the only way YOU can change that is to bring up the function you used to set it in the first place. If you can't do that, since that chip is soldered to the motherboard inside the laptop, it can not be replaced with one that does not have a password. Instead, you have to pay a fortune to have the whole motherboard replaced.
