So I thought I was getting a good deal on this Envy m6-w105dx from a Craigslist sale. It was logged in when I bought it so I thought everything was cool and powered it off. Get home and turn it back on to be presented with Administrator / Power on password prompt. I've seen a few other threads where other people have got some help so I was wondering if anyone could help me?
The disabled code is 54978208
Thanks in advance.

You're welcome
Does the halt code have a 'i' prefix?
If it does, unfortunately the hashing routine for any codes that start with a 'i' have changed, so at the moment your best option would be to Contacting HP support.

Hey thanks for such a quick response!
Unfortunately this does not work for my model 😕
I typically use either a generator from github or I flash the chip entirely if I encounter these issues, but neither have proven successful in this case...
