HP Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My on/off button does not work as it should. Sometimees I have to push the button 10 times before I can start the computer.

@ewa123 Is the power button loose or physically damaged in anyway? If not, I suggest you perform a hard/power reset as per the below steps and try again:

(Steps as per HP standards)

  • Ensure your laptop is OFF.
  • Unplug all the external devices (If any).
  • Disconnect the power charger from the computer, and remove the battery.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
  • Connect the power supply (power adapter).
  • Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
  • Then put your battery back.
