Hi,
I just updated Windows and I am trying to boot my laptop ENVY. However it suddenly asks me for the Administrator Password or Power on Password once I plug it. I did not set any password previously. And despite it booted one time it did not twice. I am stuck trying to open it. Can someone help me to figure out the right password for this model please? I tried the Password Bios website defaults with no success so far. And I'd like to avoid opening physically to touch the cmos jumper etc.
Thanks

Sorted with a simple BIOS reinstall without opening it physically. Just press Windows Key + B while you start the laptop. And run the bios reinstall like it was an update. Once done. Password on power dialog will be gone. If anyone else finds himself on that situation that's the fastest solution. As explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpiGUojtr3E
